CarrMen is very observant.
HAHA! Random right? I just realized she's the only person to realize that I changed my hair parting. Ok. That was so minute. But yea, she's the ONLY *one of the few* to notice ppl's new looks.
Don't ever go to a guy. THEY would never notice any change unless if its drastic, like...you just chopped off all of your hair...or...you shrunk 50 cm...or you GREW 1m...
Speaking of that, my banner isn't up yet! D=
I just finished downloading the font I needed and i'm still short of ideas. I'll just play around. Hopefully it'll be up by today! Not changing the background tho. Unlike Christmas, CNY means I need to put BRIGHT colours. xD

After reading and following up on my friend's plight to save a couple of puppies, I was touched.

She saved 2 puppies I think and both of them are looking for homes. If you have the heart, money and time to spare, please adopt these puppies. Many people abandon puppies because they think that by doing so, the puppies won't be put down.
Well, you're wrong.
Once these puppies grow up, they'll be creating more puppies. Ya'know, REPRODUCE?
From one, another 10 appears. That's when the dog catcher is called and all 10+ the parents end up in the pound. The difference?
You created another 10 more dogs. Whopee. You argued that its more humane that way. Think again. These dogs will suffer from malnutrition, ticks, car accidents, etc. You're actually doing the better choice by surrendering them at the pound!
Always consider the correct breed to suit your lifestyle and home. You can always adopt mix-breed dogs. They'll love you all the same, and they can watch your house too. Trust me. Have you been to Sarah's house? Ask Dianne, Steph and Yee Wen. Haha. Rocky and Almond keep people away by showing up. =P
Mix-breeds also have a smaller chance from developing diseases that are usually common in one breed.
I would also like to refer to a letter sent in the Star papers. They have a section where readers contribute their thoughts. The reader in question was replying to the news published yesterday, I think. Something about Nilai dog owners need their neighbor's consent?
As the said reader pointed out, 'What if it was a new guy, with a dog, moving in? AND the neighbors say no? What then, abandon the dog?' I'd rather not move in then.
These recent actions do have their reasons. *one of the rare few*
Some dog owners abuse their dogs to the extent where the dogs are afraid of people so they retaliate by attacking them. Its a form of self defense. They attack out of fear. You would too wouldn't you? I believe the English term for it would be when you 'snap'.
Some idiotic people love to throw stones or hurt the dogs from afar. When the dog is loose, the dog will OBVIOUSLY bite the person. Hey, humans do too. Not gonna refer to anything too politically-sensitive now >_>
Of course, in Malay we call it 'Sebab nila setitik, rosak susu sebelanga'.
Er, do tell me the English equivalent. I forgot. Haha.
Some breeds do tend to be more violent and easy to anger than most. Well, if you're gonna compare a Rottweiler to a Golden Retriever....I'm sure the results are pretty laid out for all to see.
Not only that, the said reader mentioned something about cats too. She wasn't a cat-hater, more of an animal lover and she said that it isn't a requirement for cats to get tags.

I'm stuck at a part of my game. And my brother hasn't helped me pass it yet. And he's asleep now cause he has school tomorrow. So I either pass it on my own or play ANOTHER game.

I've finished a whole season of House, thanks to Tsing but since I don't have the other series i'm suffering from what is known in the medical profession as withdrawal. Symptoms include depression. Haha.

My flu is getting better, then worse, then better. My SORE THROAT on the other hand... Is getting better, getting worse, getting worse, getting worse. =="
Number 5.
My COP, or community project is being postponed to CNY eve! >_>
*so that will mean that i'm free THIS saturday Tsing. Now gimme the free mcflurry. It might cure my sore throat =P*

Its 2.15am and i'm not sleeping yet.

This is supposed to be in number 6. I almost vomitted before our COP online conference. And its all because I started feeling dizzy after dinner.

Over the years, many things have changed.
Its time to reflect on 2008 ;)
2008 was when I turned 18 and the whole of Beijing celebrated my birthday with fireworks!
8.8.2008 and I turned 18. Very proud of that number. Haha.
Last year, I completed my college education after one and a half years.
I learned that last minute studying is always bad for you but I can never study early.
I nearly failed the requirements to enter the university that I wanted.
I found out many things about my friends I THOUGHT I knew.
I learned about the true colours of a few people and am very disappointed.
I used blogger after staying loyal to xanga. >_>
I bit of more than I could chew.
I got into university and suffered a huge lack of sleep X.x
I studied for a whole week for my exams while my senior keeps telling me to chill. Haha.
I found out that exams weren't THAT bad for sem 1 afterall. It just keeps getting worse --"
I ran away from the feedback session because when they revealed the answers my first question was already wrong ==" GAH.
I suffered another heartbreak last year.
I gained loads of new friends =)
I found out my old friends are leaving me one by one.
I found out Jun Beng will be going to IMU. >_>
And not Monash. Haha!
IMU is FREEZING. I caught the flu bug TWICE there --""""
E Li is forever hyper and i've found someone else who can actually match her.

Suffered a lot when my lecturers start talking in various thick slangs and use hard unknown words with very complicated spelling.

Ran 4+ km at one shot. A feat which used to be impossible for an endurance-deficiency person like me. >_>

My brother finally grew taller than me. And he's only freaking 12 now. His birthday is tomorrow. So he'll turn 13 then. --! The hell? SIX YEARS WEI. MANA DIGNITY SAYA!
Increased the clutter on my table and in my room. No thanks to all of the notes that I have.
Realized that I have a mountain of animes, books AND games to complete in less than one month. ARGH!!!
Realized that not everyone is nice in this world.
Grew closer to my friends =)
GOT MY PS2 BACK! *oh wait, this one was on the 2nd >_>*
Bought a new phone.
Cracked the LCD screen.
Fixed the LCD screen.
Partied for 5 days consecutively. *it started on the 31st. Does this one count? =P*

Tried to achieve at least 5 new things everyday. But i'm only at the 6th --"
Hey! This will be my new year's resolution. I will learn at least 10 new things by the end of this year. Lectures not included.

Over the years, many things have changed.
Its time to reflect on 2008 ;)
2008 was when I turned 18 and the whole of Beijing celebrated my birthday with fireworks!
8.8.2008 and I turned 18. Very proud of that number. Haha.
Last year, I completed my college education after one and a half years.
I learned that last minute studying is always bad for you but I can never study early.
I nearly failed the requirements to enter the university that I wanted.
I found out many things about my friends I THOUGHT I knew.
I learned about the true colours of a few people and am very disappointed.
I used blogger after staying loyal to xanga. >_>
I bit of more than I could chew.
I got into university and suffered a huge lack of sleep X.x
I studied for a whole week for my exams while my senior keeps telling me to chill. Haha.
I found out that exams weren't THAT bad for sem 1 afterall. It just keeps getting worse --"
I ran away from the feedback session because when they revealed the answers my first question was already wrong ==" GAH.
I suffered another heartbreak last year.
I gained loads of new friends =)
I found out my old friends are leaving me one by one.
I found out Jun Beng will be going to IMU. >_>
And not Monash. Haha!
IMU is FREEZING. I caught the flu bug TWICE there --""""
E Li is forever hyper and i've found someone else who can actually match her.

My friends are all growing up, becoming more mature as time passes.

Suffered a lot when my lecturers start talking in various thick slangs and use hard unknown words with very complicated spelling.

Its 3.50a.m on the 1st of January and Yee Wen is celebrating it by playing tong hua. What an emo way to start the new year eh?
Old times such as A-Levels, PM4, Saujana and school life.
Now its IMU, uni, medicine and more stress coming this way.
More goodbyes will be said this year since 2 of my best friends are gonna leave this year. 2009 is gonna be a very teary year for me =(
But this will mean more challenges for me coming soon.
Am I ready to face it? Will I crash and burn? Will I survive and prevail?
Only time can tell. Only my mind can prepare myself for anything.
With these sentiments, i'll demonstrate what I learnt on 1st of January around 12am to 2am.
