After reading and following up on my friend's plight to save a couple of puppies, I was touched.

She saved 2 puppies I think and both of them are looking for homes. If you have the heart, money and time to spare, please adopt these puppies. Many people abandon puppies because they think that by doing so, the puppies won't be put down.
Well, you're wrong.
Once these puppies grow up, they'll be creating more puppies. Ya'know, REPRODUCE?
From one, another 10 appears. That's when the dog catcher is called and all 10+ the parents end up in the pound. The difference?
You created another 10 more dogs. Whopee. You argued that its more humane that way. Think again. These dogs will suffer from malnutrition, ticks, car accidents, etc. You're actually doing the better choice by surrendering them at the pound!
Always consider the correct breed to suit your lifestyle and home. You can always adopt mix-breed dogs. They'll love you all the same, and they can watch your house too. Trust me. Have you been to Sarah's house? Ask Dianne, Steph and Yee Wen. Haha. Rocky and Almond keep people away by showing up. =P
Mix-breeds also have a smaller chance from developing diseases that are usually common in one breed.
I would also like to refer to a letter sent in the Star papers. They have a section where readers contribute their thoughts. The reader in question was replying to the news published yesterday, I think. Something about Nilai dog owners need their neighbor's consent?
As the said reader pointed out, 'What if it was a new guy, with a dog, moving in? AND the neighbors say no? What then, abandon the dog?' I'd rather not move in then.
These recent actions do have their reasons. *one of the rare few*
Some dog owners abuse their dogs to the extent where the dogs are afraid of people so they retaliate by attacking them. Its a form of self defense. They attack out of fear. You would too wouldn't you? I believe the English term for it would be when you 'snap'.
Some idiotic people love to throw stones or hurt the dogs from afar. When the dog is loose, the dog will OBVIOUSLY bite the person. Hey, humans do too. Not gonna refer to anything too politically-sensitive now >_>

Er, do tell me the English equivalent. I forgot. Haha.
Some breeds do tend to be more violent and easy to anger than most. Well, if you're gonna compare a Rottweiler to a Golden Retriever....I'm sure the results are pretty laid out for all to see.
Not only that, the said reader mentioned something about cats too. She wasn't a cat-hater, more of an animal lover and she said that it isn't a requirement for cats to get tags.
WOW.
Pious dontcha think? Hey, cats poop like dogs do. Correct me if i'm wrong but I think cats bury their poop or something?
Er...sorry, not my point.
The reader pointed out that cats make as much hell of a noise as dogs do. Dogs bark for a reason. When they see strangers, when they see their owners *sometimes*, when they see STRANGERS. Which I believe, is the main reason why people look after dogs most of the time.

When I was young, I heard my maid talking to the neighbor's maid and they mentioned that the cats were mating. >_>
Some of you might argue that dogs are scawee~~~ D=
They are not. In fact, if you don't own a dog all dogs are scary. Haha. But get this, dogs can sense FEAR. So if you go to...say...Sarah's house, where she has not 1, not 2, but THREE dogs, they can all sense that fear in you. THAT'S why they bark and push you around. But note this, they didn't bite you.
Well..Rocky IS a bred guard dog so its a whole different thing altogether... And he IS uncontrollable unless if my grandpa or dad is around....And he IS a German Shepherd...And he IS humongous now...
But hey, that's another story for next time. =P
ALMOND on the other hand....JUMPS at Rocky, SNAPS at Rocky, EATS Rocky's food, BULLIES Rocky....
And the list goes on. >_>
That's not the worse part. Almond has a waaaaay smaller build than Rocky, can jump out of her dog house confinement thing and is also very very very very mischievous.
Let me emphasize on something now.

Yee Wen in the santa hat. I dared her to wear that during our whole Japanese class. She did. The teacher came in and said, ' Uwaa...Yee Wen-san...kurismasu *something something*' Haha! I forgot her exact words. Either she said nice hat...or something. =P
Look at her pout. Haha! Like a lil kid. Our classmate is entirely ignorant of everything.
